it's sun nite...my dad suddenly had da idea 2 bring us 2 金门(gold door, wakkakaka..directly translate again :p) 4 dinner...yeahhh!! used 2 go this restaurant since i was a primary sch student...long long time didnt pay it a visit esp after went study in MMU...eRm..kinda miss it... ;)

it is actually a steamboat restaurant, situated in Gurney, in a old style hs~~ these type of old houses used 2 own by rich ppl long long long time ago, n now much of houses bcum high class restaurant, like this steamboat restaurant...sum bcum korean or japanese restaurant, n da price 4 da foods is far expansive than u can ever think...heheh~~

is juz another tradisional chinese hs in penang tat u hardly find else places...

inside da restaurant, nth so unique...juz it's kinda old adi...i used 2 cum here since i was studying primary sch...

actually i m not very sure how cum this restaurant charge higher price than else 1...da coz da food? coz da environment? it's seems all da same 4 food preparation, juz wash n clean den wi cook ourselves...so all da same, rite? cant think of any reason y it's more pricey...anyway...juz like those typical steamboat, u n hav da soup in 2 in 1 style or u juz wan 1 kinda of soup as da base...wi choose da chicken soup + tomyam...

anyhow, der is still sum specialities 4 this reataurant...may b da food/seafoods r much much more fresh!! let's hav a look?!

i hate seafoods, including prawn..but this tiger prawns r heavenly!! so freshh!! 5 mins ago still swam in da water...5mins later...oUch! been killed n swallowed by us...

a muzx 2 hav while having steamboat : dumpling, beancurd, meatball, fishball, quail gg, vege...bla bla bla

another thg i dun like...fish...!! but r so fresh as well...

green noodle...ahh uhh..! wi luv it...dunno whether it's added colouring or real pandan...but it taste good...

dunno whether how much da meal was...coz my dad was paying...quite $$ i can guess...! on da way 2 reach our car...met bunch of dad's frens...all DAto² and DatIn²...! ;) airen n i tot of wearing causal...luckily wi changed...! else paiseh...hehe...
